I'm playing around with using a new Javascipt menu (much like the one on ITV.com). I have produced a page at http://www.michweb.freeserve.co.uk/pa-newtest.htm using the javascript file http://www.michweb.freeserve.co.uk/js-menu.js .
As some browsers have problems with this (and also as a guide), I want to display some default text. I have done this but only by putting the text string in the menu div tags. I'd prefer to link the text from the javascript file so that it will be a little easier to update (although this may not sort out the cross browser problems)
Any ideas?
