I have been workng for days on a new website. I want to post a download page, but am not sure how to write this one? I have fumbled with some of the following thinking it must be in a similar format as some of the ones I have used for other things:

Pitcure = <IMG height=196 src="images/Aggressive Perfector.gif" width=265>

Email Button = <A href="mailto:dbh_central@yahoo.com" target="_blank"><b>DBH_Central@yahoo.com</b></a>

Another image = <a href="index.html"><img border="0" src="header.gif" width="765" height="132"></a>
But I can't seem to come up with a download code??

Thanks ahead of time Rick

P.S. - It's a linux server (files in public_html), and in that (another file is downloads)

You want to stream out download files?
Here's a C# example.

Close........... but yeah I want people to be able to download files from the server. That is something written for windows, Intel.

I just want what needs to be written on the webpage, for each file.

make sense I hope?

If you want someone to be able to download a file, just make a link to it and when they click on it, given its the correct type of file like a zip or rar it will ask the user to download it.

Whats with digging up the old thread? The OP already got the answer they needed, which was basically what you posted.
