parent form submit

Hi

i have a form and inside that form i have an iframe and from that iframe i am calling one popup and after submitting the popup i want to submit iframe also and iframe alone

i tried lot with window.opener , window.parent , i dont get anything , only thing window.opener.location giving me the exact path of the iframe

help me urgently
