Suggestions for a good smallish *current utility that checks your html code and reports back, tells you what is wrong, where, why etc?

what do you use (if you use one)

I use the HTML Tidy that's built into the UltraEdit text editor. Tidy is built into UltraEdit as a convenience though, it's usually used standalone and you can find a link to it from the page that Vladdy gave you.
