Ay zup!

Can you guys check out my site & let me know what you all thing of it. The layout is pretty much done, just have to add everything else.

Ya, i showed it to one of my friends who's *suppose* to be a web designer & he told me that my page have over 20 errors, which i don't see at all, so i think he's bull****ting me, probably just jealous of my madz php skillz.

Something that i notice is that in Internet Explorer it looks awesome, exactly the way i like it. But on a few my friends pc's they're using this Fire Fox piece of crap that makes my site look like ****, wtf is up with that?!?

Here's my site's address: http://viverustudios.com/

Ya so if you have any opions or suggestions let me know.

You can email at: euro_dj_slash@hotmail.com or djslash@gmail.com

Even the page that has your flash intro has at least 10 HTML errors (see the link Ranger provided). I'd bet that Firefox isn't the only browser your site doesn't work properly on, I'd bet Opera, Safari, etc. also have issues.

Just because it "works" in IE doesn't mean it is correct. IE6 is old and is very flexible to account for like the poor, bloated code that FrontPage generates and people that don't code properly. Newer browsers aren't like that since there are in fact standards and a proper way to code pages and it isn't that hard to follow them. Plus when you write a valid page, it makes your page more accessible, easier to work on, more extensible to other platforms, etc. basically, everyone wins. When you write valid code, you pretty much solve any cross-browser problems these days too. You may have to do a little to accomodate for IE but not much.

I'd also recommend dropping the flash intro, it isn't something that is done a lot especially on commercial sites, it is considered a bad practice and an annoyance to the user. It might seem cool but I'd suggest removing it.

Why are you using frames? It seems you just have the one frame that the page loads in. I'd remove the frameset, there is no need from it and it prevents people from bookmarking your site or sending a link to one of your pages to someone else.

Well if you think Firefox is crap, so be it - it's your opinion and no one can change it. However please take a look at why FIREFOX is far better than IE before you say it's crap - a lot of people have given their time to create, maintain and secure firefox so that people can use it properly.

it quite adiscussion you have got into.
Which browser is best????

All browser have something that they do not render properly.
Which browser you choose should depend on not just the rendering, but also if you like the things the browser can do.

When trying to make cross-browser pages then just skip what cannot be done in all browsers.

A webpage do not have to be that fancy to be good.

I agree, yet it should be eye catching and proffesional (don't hold that against me on my site  ). Tresk here, his site looks like he copy and pasted a navigation code and his "mad php skillz", are a little off because I just might not have checked the site enough but I see no php. Try watching your language too, this is a web designers forum, not some "pimp your ride" wanna be chat room.

If you want my opinion, I think your site is bland really. The navigation is about the only interesting thing on the site. Also, ditch the flash intro all together.

the less flash intros on the web the better;

I'm afraid your design looks a little dated, and very dark and gloomy!

the graphics are good, and i can see this is a strong point of yours!
