Hello...

Any one remember me... I haven't been around. Last time I was here, there was a different message board, and we had the webmasters pit...

At any rate.... I need shopping card advise.

I am helping a company set up an online store. They have a merchant account that provides access via authorize.net, and they have a web host that provides a shopping cart, Miva. Miva is not compatable with authorize.net though. So, we are looking for a new shopping cart. So far are requirements are:

-Must be compatable with authorize.net.
-Must install completely in the cgi-bin. (or atleast not require any system mods that we will not be able to do on a Linux host as a reqular user).
-Must not require system resources such as running on a different port.
-Must run on Linux.
-Should export data to Quick Books.

Also, does anyone have any comments on authorize.net ?

Thanks,
James.

Right..... I saw the list... but so many to pick from, so little time....

I'm looking for comments from anyone who has used any of the shopping carts to either recomend or advise against.

Thanks!

Check you payment module again. I just set up a Miva account and it had Authorize.net as a payment option. Running Miva 4.x.

Thanks.....

Actually I just saw Miva in the list mentioned above...

It says 4.14 has authorize.net support. My host is running 4.12. I have them checking into the plans to upgrade.

jeez....

there is an authorize.net module in my version..... maybe it's just the tech support at my host that doesn't know what the * they are talking about.

Bedtime now though, I'll call them tomorrow.
