Pressing a Key using Javascript

Is there any way to perform a KeyPress using Javascript. My web application wrote by asp.net(vb.net), and I want to move cursor to next component when press enter key. So I decide to pass Tab key, then cursor will move next component according to TabIndex. Pls give me a solution.

The jscript + WSH offers methods of sending keyboard commands but this is hardly necessary.
