Right, first of all, i'll openly state i HATE code with a passion, however i've been given a task and i cant find any help anywhere, mainly because i dont know what i'm looking for.

Basically, i need to develop a page of a few thousand songs that each have a track duration beside the name/artist.

This will all be in a form, which will allow the user to select maybe 2 hours worth of music by clicking each song they want.

The duration will total up and when they reach their mark, it'll display a message, they hit submit and everyone's happy.

I'm guessing this shouldnt be too difficult considering a similar thing works with shopping carts and prices.
It doesnt have to be java, but i'm guessing it's easier to do this stuff in java right?

If anyone can point me in the right direction, i'd be mostly grateful. I've been searching the net for the last 10 minutes and i'm at a dead end.

I hope someone out there can help me, if not, take me and my monkey balls and cry!

Okay basically, you want to spit all of the html out and give your select element an id. Setup a function that will excute onClick of the submit button that will write the music to the page.
