I'm hosting a Norwegian site which uses special characters like etc. This works fine, but what I'm trying to do is to include an URL from another site (a CMS system in Textpattern) in a news.php-file. And here's where my problems start! Even though my index-file has the following meta tag, it does not translate my norwegian characters in the included file/URL the right way:

<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
I have tried changing it into UTF-8, with no luck. And in the CMS system itself, I had the language set to Norwegian.

This is way beyond my knowledge about charsets etc...but I'm hoping there is someone out there who can help me out!
