Hey, does anyone know how I can fire the "Save Target As" function when someone clicks on a link to a file (Word Document for example)???
Also, would this work in Netscape???
Thanks for your help...

Well, here's a solution (http://www.codestore.net/A55692/store.nsf/unid/EPSD-59MN9J?OpenDocument), but as you can see, doesn't have much to do with javascript. It's all server-side because those languages have much better control with HTTP headers, which is what is used to achieve this effect.

Thanks beetle!
I'd actually rather do it server side, I just didn't know which way to go about it. I'm a bit of an ASP "guru" ;) So I'm happy to know this can be done on the server-side.
Thanks again
