Well, if he was trying to be malicious, he would probably have tried to google it already, since the first thing that comes up is:

"Microsoft MSN Messenger Includes an ActiveX Control That Has 'ResDLL' Parameter Buffer Overflow That Lets Remote Users Execute Arbitrary Code"...

Which somehow doesn't surprise me at all... :D

I just installed that patch from here:

http://download.microsoft.com/download/chat/Patch/4.2/WIN98MeXP/EN-US/MSNChatSecFix.exe

I would suggest anyone else using MSN Messenger do the same, since even Microsoft says this:

Impact of vulnerability: Run Code of Attacker's Choice

Maximum Severity Rating: Critical
