Before I continue adding more to this website and getting the content up I want the layout as perfect as possible. This (http://www.suburbanette.com/) is my personal website.

Plus I need a suggestion on placement of the name of the website.

tool tips links text is not a little clear. I think you'd better change the tool tips font.

According to SEO, site name must be :

consistent with the whole content of site
short and easy to remember

html, body {
margin: 0;
height:100%;
}
body {
background: url(/images/background.gif) fixed repeat-x;
}

IE6 isn't fixing your background image. Try that instead.

Lokka the same on Moz, Op8 and IE6 to me good job :thumbsup:

the one thing that gets me the margin of your text. It's way over to the right. The 1' blank space on the left looks odd to me.

Thanks I took everything you said into effect. Tool tips should be easier to remove. Fixed background issue. And there isn't so much space bewteen the side bar and main content.

I think all in all it's nice. Simple but nice.

I still think the spacing of the maincol needs a little work. Maybe something like:

#maincol {
margin-left: 223px;
padding: 10px;
font: 13px Arial, sans-serif;
width: 430px;
}
* html #maincol {
width: 410px;
}

and it's kinda choppy on scrolling in IE6. dropping 'fixed' here

body {
background: url(/images/background.gif) fixed repeat-x;
}

seems to eliminate it.
