Here's the deal, I am saving money to buy photoshop, and I just want to know if theres any way of making this in php.

I want to just be able to see how much money I have and how much I need. Will I need a database or anything for this?

Don't you get your bank account details from the bank?

I'm 14.

And I'd rather just keep track of it myself, and have the money just incase i need anything.

Do you not trust banks? Plus, if you just stash the money away yourself, you are not losing interest but it isn't insured. What happens if someone robs you? You lose your money. If someone robs a bank, each bank account is insured up $100,000 (if I remember correctly). Plus, you build interest while your money is in a bank.

1) The Gimp (http://gimp.org) is free and works just as well, IMO.

2) Put at least most of your money in a bank or credit union for reasons mentioned above.

3) If you're interested in programming and want some practice, then I say go for it! I wouldn't go entering any actual financial data into it until you're absolutely sure that your program is secure, but it's good for coding practice, and you might find another use for it somewhere. Yes, you can use php & mysql to do it, but if you don't know the basics, you'll need to learn them first.

If you're looking for something to manage your cash, you can try http://www.gnucash.org/

Also, I would recommend The Gimp as well
