I'm sorry if this is not the correct forum, but I'm not familiar with Javascript.

My question: While browsing webpages, etc. my bottom bar sometimes shows "Javascript error, type javascript into Location"

When I do this it takes me to the Javascript Homepage which means nothing to me and therefore, I have no idea what the error is to be corrected.

Should I worry about this, or is it just something for programmers to take note of for further adjustment to their site?

Thank you.
Gloria

Good question

You are correct on your 2nd point in that those errors are an indication to the developer of a problem, and are generally meaningless to the end user.

However, I suspect you are using Netscape, and what you actually type is "javascript:" not "javascript"

:D

Thank you for your quick response.
I have noted your colon after "javascript" as Javascript:
Yes I do use Netscape.
Thank you for saving me the worry that something was indeed wrong with MY computer programmes.
