I'm trying to learn the basic CSS so I can create skins for forums. However I'm having trouble finding a place that will help me learn skinning and generators seem to hate me. So I'm asking for a bit of help with skinning and the basics codes that will help me skin.

Thank you all for your time...

Considering the fair number of views and the absence (up till now) of actual responses, I guess your questions are too general and non-descriptive to solicit answers.
Could you indicate if you want to create skins for particular forums? How are presentational aspects of these forums arranged? Where does CSS come into view?
Otherwise: could you give an example of a page you want to create a skin for? Remember, even though current best practice is to separate presentation from content en structure, they are still intimately linked, which without knowing what a page's structure looks like makes it near impossible to supply anything more but very general pointers how to apply CSS to it.
