Can anybody who knows both mysql and vbscript please post a sample script of how to access a mysql db through vbscript?

do you mean using vbscript as scriptinglanguage for ASP?

just run a search here on "MySQL ASP" and you'll find lots of examples. Basically, you can take any ASP - MsServer or MsAccess script, and just replace the connectiostrings.
