Does anyone know the code that i could use to make a table inside one of my posts that i could write HTML in for it to be seen?

A guess...

Just html-code the less-than and greater-than signs.
If you want

do

no i'm talking about the tables. in the code you write overflow="auto" but that doesn't work on my xanga. is there an alternative to that?

You've lost me.

Perhaps a drawing of want you want to do might help.

You've lost me, too.
What is it exactly that you're trying to do, but can't?

Right... so Xanga is a blogging website.

Apparently you're meant to do this...

- Create a new weblog entry like you would normally
- Click the checkbox named EDIT HTML which is right above the upper left corner of the box in which you type your entry
- Paste in your HTML code
- Unclick the EDIT HTML checkbox

From the help on their site.
