Can I set up CSS to change the properties on an indented UL with out adding an ID or Class. I would like to change properties for ul of line 3-1 and line 3-2 but not sure how to do, I want to use the style thats in ul:ul (list-style-type = square) I'm not sure what ul:ul should really be

<style type="text/css">
<!--
ul {
LIST-STYLE-IMAGE: url(images/some-image.gif);
FONT-FAMILY: Arial;
COLOR: #000;
FONT-SIZE: 12pt;
MARGIN-TOP: 0;
MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0;
}
ul:ul
{
LIST-STYLE-IMAGE: none;
LIST-STYLE-TYPE: square;
MARGIN-TOP: 0px;
MARGIN-BOTTOM: 0px;
}
li.small {
LIST-STYLE-IMAGE: none;
LIST-STYLE-TYPE: none;
FONT-SIZE: 8pt;
}
-->
</style>
</head>

<body>
<ul>
<li>this is a test </li>
<li>line 2 </li>
<li>line 3
<ul>
<li>line 3-1 </li>
<li>line 3-2 </li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>line 4 </li>
<li>line 5 </li>
<li class="small">lin6 </li>
</ul>
