css menu

Hi

I'm new to css, i'm trying to get my menu looking like the image which is attached, any ideas, I can;t seem to get the white gap.

Any ideas?

Can you post the code you're using? The image is correct, but your code is outputting something different? We need more info here...

Looks like a 1 px white border to me...

I don't think he has any code, I think he just wants someone to give him the code to make his list look like that.
