Hi

Could someone assist me in making a print stylesheet for this site please!

http://calibrehr.com/new/

What I need is:

just the logo to display (remove nav)
The text in the orange block to span the width of the page
Remove subnav
Some how diplsay the text that is in the purple boxes below the main content text

I am stuck as to what to do and could really appreciate some help

Many thanks!

If you want to remove divs etc from being printed, just apply display:none to it's class in your print stylesheet.

Hi Mumford,

I had a requirement to do this a short while ago; here's a thread that has a few solutions - it worked for me! http://www.codingforums.com/showthread.php?t=64741&highlight=print

Regards,
Mike.

Thanks for the reply!

I have updated my print stylesheet. http://calibrehr.com/new/print.css
All the answers I am getting for this post are "just put display none", yes I know that, but such is my design, I need the main content area to fill the page and how do I make the text boxes that run along the left hand side to fall under the main content area text.

But what I was asking for was, how do I make the main content area fill the page and how do I make the text boxes that run along the left hand side to fall under the main content area text
Thanks again

Check out the javascript example in the thread in the link that I posted - a bit of lateral thinking will show you how to use the principle demonstrated there to provide any kind of alternative printing layout for your pages. Don't worry, you don't have to be a Javascript nut to figure it out! (I had written about 3 lines of javascript in my entire life before having a go!) :)
