I have Windows 98 Second Edition....And just re-formatted and downloaded Dreamweaver...And i need 256 Color to run it...If anyone know how to install 256 Color please post!

Nope...i need to install a CD but i dont know which one...Does anyone know?! Please Help....

What is the model of your computer? Should say on the front of the box. Word of advice, if you don't have the drivers you need don't reformat.

I built my computer...And i have everything i need to reformatt....I have like 3 times already...

Okay then what graphics card do you have? Actually it might be as simple as just changing to 256 color. Okay been a while since I used Win98, you will need to get to the display properties of your system and click on the settings tab. You should maybe be able to change the color bit there.

Yea i already checked there....all i have is 2 and 16 bit color

Then you need to install your drivers for your graphics card more than likely. Not much more I can tell you without knowing exactly what model of graphics card you have. Have you even installed the drivers?

Nope not yet...Hopefully soon...maybe right now i might just install graphics...But dont know what CD it is

well i have True 36 Bit color installed its way better and runs dreamweaver!! YAY! hehe lol

Heh, this means your video card is not being detected at all. I'm sure you must have solved this issue though. 2bit color. Outstanding.
