I'm not sure why you would want to know this when it can already be changed from Internet Explorer. Why do you want to know where the start page is at?

In the registry at:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

There is a value:

"Start Page"="theurltoyourstartpage"

Okay what is it that you are trying to do? Maybe its just me but it seems like you are making an application that will change someone ELSE's system setup.

Yeah, I think we might have to draw the line here. This is getting into the whole spyware/malware area and even if your intentions are benevolent, the information could still be used in a bad way.

Which is why I didn't tell the location of the home page in the first place. :rolleyes:

I thought this was a help forum. I must have been crazy to think that! I am actually making an installation suite that installs my desktop bg and my selected homepage into the computer. Dont know why everyone is a damn nazi with pety information but thanks for answering my first question. If anyone has a brain out there please answer my second thanks!
