Hi. This is my first post, so greetings everyone!
I'm working on redesigning a fairly large and complex website for a higher education institution. I'm using Dreamweaver MX, and do not have access to a CMS at the present time.
I would like to add a 'review date' flag to each page - something along the lines of <META name="ReviewDate" content="YYYY-MM-DD"> - to record when the content next needs to be reviewed. However I am not sure how to interrogate this data without a database.
Can anyone recommend a simple, lo-tech mechanism for a) getting the site to notify me each time a page 'expires', and/or b) querying the site and retrieving a list of all expired pages?
Any advice appreciated.
Cheers
