Hi There Oh Wise Ones

Can any one help i am trying to find a script that allows me to ask visitors a simply questions with 4 choices that will show the results in persentages and number of users who clicked one of the choices.

example.

Do you think the black background looks naff?

1.yes
2.no
3.maybee
4.indifferent.

vote

then the results looks like this whick you see once the vote button has been submitted.

The results for the poll. Does the black background look naff?

1. yes 50% no of vistors 5
2. no 10% no of vistors 1
3. maybee 10% no of vistors 1
4. indifferent 30% no of vistors 3

I thought this might be done like a counter where the script simply adds one to a text file on the server then the results page uses this to get the numbers for the results.

Any suggestions wellcome

please help or i'll have no hair left:confused:

Looking Good dysfunctionGazz

I have a look at that visitor poll and it looks good.

I am at the moment having a go at doing a dynamic one out of a database as i have just included a dynamic latest news section to the site i am working at present.

or Some oh wise code master on here doesn't come up with something useful. which given time they normally do.

But if i don't like what i come up with then i think i shall be paying bravenet a visit for one of those.

Thanks for the suggestion:thumbsup:

Hi there

I would just like to say thanks for all the help.

I have used the poll suggested by JustAsking and found that as it is a self contianed poll with the pages and database already made and only the simply task of logging into the admin panel to configure the the poll.

This poll is really easy to use.

so thanks again to everyone.
