Noob needs help!!! :p

I simply need to know how to open another file into a php file: here it is;

I'm using an "include-script"( i think, because I heard it from the guy who gave me this - whatever) - so the folder the index.php is conected to is "inc"

so i need to write (?side=thepage) in the link... you sure understand it already.. ("side" is page on norwegian if you want to know)

so i need to use a .php file to get a htm or html page showing...

That means that i need to "include" the .htm/html-file to the php..

ok..then..hehe.. what is the tag?

Look in the PHP forum, there have been several topics posted on this subject already along with a few excellent solutions.

PHP includes are easy

<?php include ("file.html") ?>

already tried that... Isn't working!

Is there some other code i coukd use?

Then your doing something wrong. Is your page that you are using the include on saved with a .php extension? Do you even have the file names correct?

Does your web server have PHP enabled?
