Adding a rating thing to a simple message board.

How can I add a way to have the users rate a topic in this simple message board? I am not using this for a message board, but for a way users can post atricles. This is the demo message board that I am using:

EDIT: Also I have tried hotscripts.com and all they have is complex poll scripts. I just need a simple script or code that will allow users to rate an article, show the average rating somewhere an maybe order the articles by the average rating.

Easiest thing is to go to whever you got the forums from and ask for a rating hack
