I am using an iframe to display content. At the moment the scrolling is set to auto. In Mac Firefox and IE scrollbars are only displayed when needed, but in Windows IE scrollbars are always visible.

Any sugestions as to why?

try omitting the height=100% in the body section of your css file. browsers handle this differently.

I don't get vertical scroll bars when it's not needed on IE6.

I do get the horizontal scroll bar on IE though. You can aleviate this by making the html pages being loaded into the iframe 20px skinnier. In your case it look slike the iframe is 600px wide. Make the html bering loaded 580px wide and it should get rid of the horizontal scrollbar.
