openwebmail-2.51 (built from /usr/ports)
okay I give up. I have reinstalled perl 5.8.7 with SUIDPERL and reinstalled p5-CGI-SpeedyCGI-2.22_1 and I am still have a speedy_backend protocol error when I am attempting to build openwebmail from the FreeBSD /usr/ports
I dont know what else to try now. clues please?
