Scary Bunny

Does anyone remember the infamous multiplying bunnies web page? It looked like it may have been coded in javascript but I never found out. The page has sadly gone.

Failing that maybe someone knows of a script like it. Here's what it did:

1. Loaded the image to the page
2. Auto refresh after x seconds
3. Writes another image next to the first one
4. Auto refresh after x seconds

etc etc

The image was a cartoon bunny animation, and eventually the screen would fill up, you could theoretically let it run until your browser crashed! What really got me was the midi that went with it - Mars from "The Planets".

I would love to be able to find it, or get in touch with someone who could write it - the javascript can't be that big so my friend told me.

If you could come up with something you'd make an 8 year old boy very happy on his birthday in early October.

all it is a onload pop up window script in each of the windows that keeps opening the same page with the script.

maybe had a time delay.........

Midi was run on the first page.

lol....read your question wrong, so you are saying that the images just keep adding up inside of one window???

if that is the case, it is document.write to a window......if I get time later on, i will write the code...

Thanks, I would try and work out how to do it myself, but it's finding the time to learn it all, I work 14 hours a day as it is...lol

it sounds as if you've got the idea.... I think the images were written into the page like this (X is the image)

Page opens

X

script writes a new image to page

XX

script writes another new image to page

XXX

etc etc

I can't remeber the page actually reloading, it was on a 56k modem and the transition seemed seemless.

If you could come up with something that would be great!
