This seems kind of suspicious to me.
If you have problems with this, create a session via direct sql administration and assign yourself a valid usergroup with permissions which can alter your needs. You should be able to do this as the site owner.

We will not discuss nor condone hacking in our forums.

As suggested already if you have forgotten the administrative password then either log into your hosting account via a shell account or through whatever control panel your web host provides and access the database you are using for postnuke and create a record for yourself as the administrator. If you have phpMyAdmin installed then that would be the easiest way to access and modify your database.

Hehe, this reminds me of those "I lost my CD-key to xx game! I swear I bought it but lost the key, can someone send me a keygen!" type threads. :D

Yeah. If the site is yours you don't need to hack it.

I don't really know what this thread is all about, but the subject sounds like a book I once read when I was a child, minus the "postnuke" and "website" part of course.....And minus all of those other silly words, too....

I asked a question, and all of you people told me i was a fake, and trying to "hack" into my OWN website.

http://tck.farvista.net/

There ya go, there is proof that i acually do own it, so you might want to take a good look at it.

The link is dead.
Even if it could be viewed, what could it show to prove that you, whom is currently posting here, is linked with that website?
You have been given the solution to fix this without hacking attempts.

i tried the attempts, but it told me it couldnt connect to the database.

Also, it seems that some people can view it some cannot, and i made a message that says: "Thanks coding forums But this is proof that i do acually own this website. -victimizati0n"
