Doesn't it include a boat load of (help files) documentation? Otherwise online at: msdn.microsoft.com/library/

C++ isn't exactly something someone can just show you how to use on a weekend, especially if you are completely new to programming. Maybe start out with one of those "for dummies" book, they are usually well written and easy to follow. That will get you headed in the right direction.
