Ok, i realize this might not be the best forum to post this in, but I've never installed a wireless network myself, and a friend of my wants me to troubleshoot hers (she's hot guys, come on!) Anyway, here's the situation:
She's running a desktop with a wireless adapter to a linksys B wireless router, to set it up it says you need a desktop physically connected to it via ethernet cable to set up the router, but the pc and router are far apart, unfeasibly far, and the setup keeps coming up that there is no PC connected to the router, is there any way to set it up with out running a cable PC->router??
