Can I please get a review on the design/layout of this site.

The only two pages available right now are the search page and the forums.

The forums are a simple phpBB2 forum with my own skin (well, started as someone elses skin but i changed mostly everything).

1) I know the forum images are 'off' -> it's a mistake made by me, i didn't leave the same padding for all images.

2) Most, if not all of the code is generated. so please bare with me when reading it.

http://www.igotscammed.com <- the site will be released on friday, so any input befor then would be great.

ohh, and this is a Internet Scam Victim Resources site btw.

Simple, but nice!

Change the font from Times New Roman though on the search results page.

Forum is nice too, bit too plain though, too much white... and it's annoying me it doesn't fit into my res properly. That's normally enough to drive me off a forum btw.

Well done though!

You might want to do that since due to the nature of your site, you'll be getting a lot of people that aren't the most computer savvy and are much more likely be running 800*600 since it is a default resolution. So it'd be advisable to make it work well for them. :)

Yup that's a good idea Oracleguy, ...and I am computer savvy ;) ... just on a 15" TFT. :o

You can use a 15" LCD with 1024x768 - I *think* some models can go up to 1280x1024 but it would depend on your graphics card ;)

Yea it goes up to 1024 but it's not easy on the eyes!

heh...I've got a rarely-used 19" CRT running at 1600x1200, that IS hard on teh eyes at time :p

A 15" CRT and I could proabably get away with it but a TFT is less clear than a CRT. Anyway, back on topic I think... ;)

Yeah ;)

Well the content of that page has changed a bit...the text colour is quite light and against a white background it makes it quite hard to see. Also the design is quite simple and effective but I think it needs a it more colour injected into it ;)

I agree. i'm still trying to determine how this would best be served. the text colour hasn't changed because i'm too lazy to change it everywhere so that will come soon.

ohh and btw, i'm running dual 17" monitors (CRT's @ work) both at 1152*864. and @ home a single 19" LCD running again at 1152*864.

I've always thought of 1152x864 as being a less-used resolution than 1024 etc, however I'm running it :D....My laptop's 15" LCD only goes up to 1024

i think it's perfect. aftering running it for a while 1024 is just too small. and i wear glasses (bad vision) so 1200 is too big.
