Quick Flash Actionscript Help

I have a serious problem. I have a presentation due for work in two days, and the presentation is done in flash, I am a very new flash user and my bosses know this but there is still a lot riding on one little thing. I can not figure out how to make a script to activate a button and assign it to go to a specific slide or nested slide. (ie. a NEXT button or PREVIOUS)I've looked online everywhere and no tutorials I've found have worked? I must be doing something wrong...It seems like it should be a very simple task? Can anyone help me? :confused:

so finally after days of trying I've figured it out..Only thing is when I press the skip button it skips to the next frame but continues to play the imbedded sound file from the previous screen...What should I do? Any help, will be saving my butt! :D Thank You!
