Hi all,

I'm using FCKEditor for users' entering files' content. Problem is this WYSIWUG editor is currently working for only HTML content. Suppose I write

<?php
echo phpinfo();
?>

it displays

<!--p
echo phpinfo();
-->

I want it to help edit not only HTML but also PHP, CSS, JS file types.

Anyone of you've such experience, please reply. Thank you very much.

There's some discussion of this on the support pages for the editor over at SF, I found this in under two minutes by googling for FCKEditor so the information's out there if you want to do a little searching.

Here is one recommendation which is quick and easy:

I found that if you place HTML comments around your php tags FCK will not convert your tags. FCK will still convert double quotes to " I just use single quotes

Example
<!--
<?php print 'Something'; ?>
-->
