Server hangs with FSO

Hi there. Forgive me in advance if this topic has been covered, however I'm a bit curious as to why a page coded with a FileSystemObject tends to hang a few seconds. I've instantiated an object and am utilizing the FileExists bit -- nothing bizarre or complicated. Is this typical Windows behavior (again)? Thanks.

Yes!

I have seen this on some servers... not on others. If you have the opportunity to test the script on more than one server... it might be worth the effort.

I had the opportunity to visit your neck o th' woods a couple months ago. Prince William Sound, Mt McKinley and Gold's Gym. WONDERFUL !!! Just WONDERFUL!!! You are fortunate to live in such a beautiful place.

And the GA Airport.... WOW!!! I have never seen so many general aviation aircraft in one location.
