Want to put anchors in my PDF document similiar to HTML anchors where if you click on something it will take you to
another part of the page. Also if possible you can click on something on an HTML page and it will take you to a
specific spot on the pdf page. Is any of these possibilities possible in pdf , and if so please tell me how??

As of Acrobat4.0 I don't believe that is possible. Within the document you can use the bookmarks window to create links to certain pages or to specific sections on a page.

You can create links which will "go to view" within the same pdf doc. But I don't know how to link an anchor from outside.
The only way I know to create a link & "anchor" is to:
select the "link" tool [a chain icon]
draw a marguee around the hyperlink
choose your options from the Link Properties box [appearance & action etc]
select where you want the page to jump to before you hot "set link"
You may also want to change the text attributes of the text in your marguee so that it's more obvious as link. Go to the "Touch Up tool" and select attributes.
