deobfuscate javascriptcrmpicco 05-25-2005, 01:03 PM I am looking for a program that will allow me to deobfuscate javascript. Is this possible? Picco jbot 05-25-2005, 01:37 PM I am looking for a program that will allow me to deobfuscate javascript. looking to steal someone else's code, are we? Is this possible? if it weren't possible, then the JS wouldn't be able to work, now would it. if you anything of JS, then you can deobfuscate it yourself. indeed, it's not hard and you don't need to be clever to do it. in fact, if you can't do it, then maybes you're the opposite of clever. if I sound rude or cheeky, it's only because what you're doing is just as cheeky or rude. vwphillips 05-25-2005, 09:48 PM Interesting bit is auto formating which I understand by 'deobfuscate' I tried this some time ago using reg expressions but did not complete I have been told that JGRASP does this for JAVA and C, C++ would be a useful tool for legitimate use I may try again but prefer a more compact format than the recomended format Skyzyx 05-26-2005, 12:54 AM looking to steal someone else's code, are we? No, if the code is on the web, then it's fair game to learn from. And no, it's not always easy to deobfuscate code. Before you decide to verbally attack someone, you need to stop and chill. Harry Armadillo 05-26-2005, 03:55 AM Verbally attack? I coulda sworn that was written... ;) Anyway, there isn't one-way/one-program to de-obfuscate anymore that there is only one way to do the obfuscation. You want to read the code? Your choices are: figure it out yourself; or post a link, and hope that someone thinks that you deserve to shown the code or shown how to get it. Of course, most of us tend to respect the wishes of the original programmer... jbot 05-26-2005, 09:49 AM Verbally attack? I coulda sworn that was written. I coulda sworn there are verbs in my previous post. ;) Of course, most of us tend to respect the wishes of the original programmer... which was my point in the first place. |
