Dynamic Vertical Div Box

Hey All,

I'm running into a small problem with a div tag. I'm trying to create one that stretches vertically based on the amount of content within it (text). The div tag is the same across a series of pages, but the content changes. There is a footer that needs to go right below this div, so 1) absolutely positioning the footer won't work and 2) setting a fixed height of the div tag won't work.

I've done this before awhile back, but can't get it to work now ..

Any suggestions?

Are you wanting the footer to be at the very bottom of the page or just to be below the content div? Also it would help if you showed us your code.

Just below the content div. I'm not near my code right now, but it's nothing special. I'll post tomorrow ..

Just put the footer div at the end of all of your code, and use clear:both; in CSS so it will be able to clear any floats that you may have.
