For a web site promoting yourself, what kind of content do you put up? As of now, i have a home link (which will contain news) and i have a Portfolio, Bio, Message Board, Contact, and Resume link. Just curious as to what else i could put up...and also curious what you've got on yours. Post a URL to your site as well. I'd like to see. Thanks!

What exactly is it that you want to promote about yourself? Is this just your home page where you are telling a bit about yourself?

it's not so much a personal page where i post all my pictures and tell what me and my friends did last night. It is more a page where people who are interested in my work (3D modeling, Web design, Graphic design) can come and view some of my work. There will be a portfolio, bio, contact information, resume, etc.

.....

There you go ... that's what your website should be.

I would leave out the bio and resume. I don't know if it's a good idea
to put such personal information on the internet. Let your work sell itself.
