I'm sorry, this isn't really related to web building, but I just don't know where else to ask..

I was wondering how I could get access to my toolbar (File, edit, view, etc) if the webpage I'm visiting took it away. I know I could probably de-activate javascript before clicking of the link, but the link I'm speaking of requires javascript...
Is there any solution?

Just so you know, here is why I need this. I visited this webpage where all the accents é, è, ê, â, etc.. where replaced by weird stuff like é, è, ê, etc..
So what I decided to do is use a bookmarklet I had seen that search and replaces anything in the source. I used it to search ê and replace it by ê, for instance. But the problem was that I could only replace one at a time, and if I replaced another after, the first replacement was cancelled. So I used another bookmarklet that allows to edit the HTML of a page. But this took all my toolbars away, so I couldn't use the other bookmarklet anymore. Anyways, that's my problem. I want my toolbars back.. Do you know how?
