changed Administrator password on win2k

has anyone ever had the password changed on the admin account on their win2k computer???

i changed the password to admin on my home computer and it wonked at 11pm on tuesday night, and then 11am wednesday and when i tried on wed night abt 6pm i couldn't use the password that i had set yet every person that used the computer between 11pm tue and 6pm wed hadn't touched the admin account password....

any suggestions???

Depends on how you change the password. If you change it through the computer management console > system tools > local users and groups > users, it might give problems. If you change it through control panel > user accounts, it works perfect.

i changed it when i pressed Ctrl + Alt + Del and hit the "Change Password"....

i dont understand why it worked earlier on during the day but not later than night....
