Is there an easier way to add a drop shadow to an image rather than adding a table around it with little image parts or physically adding the shadow to the image.
Thanks

Thanks ronaldb66 05-18-2005, 02:54 PM You could try these ALA articles: CSS Drop Shadows (http://www.alistapart.com/articles/cssdropshadows/) CSS Drop Shadows II: Fuzzy Shadows (http://www.alistapart.com/articles/cssdrop2/) or even Onion Skinned Drop Shadows (http://www.alistapart.com/articles/onionskin/) Perhaps not easier, but at least without the abuse of layout tables and images that have no place in the content. SeeIT Solutions 05-18-2005, 03:21 PM Thanks. I used the onion skin thing. Works really well. ronaldb66 05-18-2005, 03:45 PM Yeah; although hindered by some superfuous markup, it does give the most sophisticated effect, and is very flexible at that. Care to spoil us with an example of what you created...? :D SeeIT Solutions 05-18-2005, 04:38 PM tried to pm u but ur inbox is full... www.seeitsolutions.com.au/layouts |
