flash experts ??

Heyy !!
I really got little idea where to post this question....but I was hoping for some help
I'm using the tabs script in my

obviously with time as I keep adding to it, the page is taking longer and longer to load.
Instead I felt if I could make use of flash to get the functionality...
there will be a small floating frame where the yellow bg exists right now. and depending on the button users click on the menu, a page will load in the floating frame.
well meaning idea parhaps but I dont know flash :(
I made something nice in macromedia fireworks, hoping to be able to export it as a .swf file. but when I did so, mousedown effects, target frames everything was lost. All I was left with was a static image with no links.
so, I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to do this in flash in simple easy steps.

check out guistuff.com (http://www.guistuff.com). They have a bunch of flash navigation generators. All you have to do is enter information into the fields and it generates the .swf file as well as the code to embed it. You have to register to use the site but its free and don't worry they don't spam you either...

Although there maybe a few people hanging around codingforums who are fluent in flash (like me;)) you should probably post these sought of questions at www.flashkit.com where there a hundreds of flash gurus. :)

PS: GUI stuff generators are a good alternative.
