I recently made a kiddy website for little kids and i'm not sure the layout is valid. On my computer it displays properly, but on different computers it has an error in it. I can't find what's wrong. Here is the link: CLICK HERE! (http://flygoncave.bravehost.com/shell.html)

The layout/code is highly invalid - http://validator.w3.org/check?verbose=1&uri=http%3A//flygoncave.bravehost.com/shell.html

Have you installed browsers like firefox and opera on your computer to test it for yourself? Also, what's the error? :p

Okay,
go to www.mozilla.org/products/firefox and download and install firefox, then view your website in there.

then go to www.opera.com and download and install opera, then view your website in opera.

I havent looked at your site in IE or Opera yet.

Just looked:

It looks the same in all three browsers I have tested it in - IE 6.0 SP2, Firefox 1.0.3 and Opera 8.0

You should use CSS for your site layout rather than tables, or atleast get your code valid :)

So, you've seen the website in Firefox and Netscape?

I dunno. I just see an error icon when i use IE 5.5. When I use IE 6, there's no errors. AND there's no browser- or system-specific coding in it.

I'm looking at the page in IE 5.5 SP2 and don't see any type of error that the browser is reporting. Please be more specific on the error, how does it happen or when does it happen.

As soon as the page loads, there is an error icon. I don't know what happened. REALLY! Each time I look at it, there's an error!

When you get the error symbol showing in the browser, right click (I think from memory ) and select the Show Errors option.

What does the error say?

It looks fine to me. I'm not seeing any errors in IE or Firefox. On a side note, when you click splash, a curse word pops up...appropriate for children?

generally looks good yellow and orange works for the site....and then theres the green

the forums would be better if you signed up for proboards as phpbb vb and invision would not work on that site
