When I see the google ad :

Javascript Errors Fixed
Free and simple download! aff Fix your Javascript errors Now

www.pcmightymax.net

In fact, this site is not selling software for fixing JavaScript errors but PC errors.
So, what they say isn't in accordance with what they have.

Is it deceiving the Google? :p

There's enough of that though ... what about all those generated shopping site ads - you search for "widget" and you get those annoying sites saying "search for widget at saleorama.com" or whatever, and you go there, and they don't even have it!

It would probably take a major case before Advertising Standards before any of that changes, if indeed it's even covered - maybe google ads count as classifieds, so possibly not included in print advertising rules

One thing I don't like is when you see these adverts saying stuff like "Remove all windows errors" etc....you click on the advertisment and then you are prompted to download a file which would probably be total crap and go and make your windows installation worse than it was the first place...

Yeah, I agree. I've been seeing so many things like that. Wrong ads crashed my pc while I had fewer experience.

Also there are still false ads which redirect us to their wanted locations.

So, we don't have to believe the contents in every ads, right? :)

I've never really trusted adverts on the 'net. There are just too many offering sometimes dodgy stuff. I would like to see more legit ads on teh internet which are offering real products for sale, rather than one thing when it is being advertised as another.

Google's gotten more careful with that. I've seen pictures of early Google searches for words like "slave" and Google would draw ads along the lines of "Cheap slaves at eBay.com". Basically they're trying to tailor the ad to your query, but it often results in misleading (or offensive) advertising.

So, we don't have to believe the contents in every ads, right? Exactly. It's sad, but almost every ad on the net should be approached with a certain amount of suspicion, and the fact that Google places them doesn't change much about that.
