Hi
This is a script available off the Apple web site, designed to sniff/detect browser plug-ins. My interest in using the script primarilly to sniff for the Quicktime plugin, to work with QuicktimeVR movies on my website. (www.kaneinspain.com)
How is this script customised in order to do the following:
a) If Quicktime IS installed, to quietly allow the MOV file to play.
b) If Quicktime is NOT installed, or out of date, the user gets a redirect to the Quicktime download page on the Apple site.

By the looks of things, it will make sense to those who know their subject, but that's not me, well not to the extent, not yet anyway.
