I've accepted a position at another company, and have taken the task to fill my absence here at my current employment (not my dotfive owned company). At the most, we'll need someone to manage the print production (anyone who knows PosterShop, Color Calibration/science, Mac Print software -- illustrator, photoshop, indesign, pdf; we've steered off quark) pronto, but there are other voids to fill regarding management, IT, web design, print design -- here's the basics:
- Knows how to run a Roland Hi-Fi printer, Camm-1 -- has a knowledge of digital, screenprint, offset, web and other print technologies, material and methods - not excluding color profiling and proofing
- knows print design, form/function, understands print production (prepress)
- knows web design, XHTML/CSS -- obsessive table users need not apply. I will drop a line into the company everynow and then, and when my pretty new site launches in the next week, I better not see a table hack adjustment.
- knows OS X, OS X server, Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP, and is willing to continue my domination of Thunderbird and Firefox company wide. IT and design could be two people here, if you can handle both to replicate my absence, that would be fantastic.
- has managerial experience... if not, has proven organizational skills. This would mean you would have a different manager to answer to than being your own manager as I push along.
This is in the North Bay, about 20 minutes north of San Francisco (where I commute from) -- anyone who's interested may pm or email me through codingforums or at:
bfrey [at] dotfive.com
You can ask questions here as well, financial questions (pay and benefits) I'll answer privately via the pm and email. Anyone interested? Full-time, you prove your worth after 90 days, you're in:)
