hi to all,

please don't think of me as an idiot.

Our ISP is continuously banning millions of completely free hosting and free web email services.

I have to change many email addresses once a year.

They ban one and then I change another.

I can impede through that, but email function is a kind of using cookies; can't run properly with cookie control.

Please give me a piece of advice how to escape this disaster.. :p :p

Thank you so much for your valuable advice.

One example is

Did they even bother to mention why it is "in violation of your internet usage policy"? What is "your internet usage policy", anyway?!!

In policy, they only state that we mustn't access to gov opposed sites and mustn't do any illegal actions.

We, people, here have no claim or real human right like other countries.

The Internet here is controlled by gov. :( :(

Are any other international autorities who can control our ISP ?

What country are you from and who are your ISP?

If it is your ISP that is preventing you from accessing these pages, then there would not be any way of getting around it unless you change to another ISP.

We only have two ISPs. One ISP's Internet usage cost too much that we can't afford to buy;only for Ministry and top companies.

Both of ISPs are under gov.

Apart from migrating, I'm afraid all you're left with is humbly asking your ISP which services are not in violation of those elusive policies, and hope that you can keep using those for any length of time.

Wow... great place to live... migrating seems more and more attractive.
Anyone got Gee Dubya's e-mail address? I know of another country he can go to war with, er, I mean introduce democracy to.

I am assuming that you live in China.

There would have to be a policy on a government site somewhere stating what the usage policy is. Maybe find that and see if they have any recommended free mail sites to use.

Good luck

Is it possible to use a proxy server located in some country which does not have such limitations? Or does your government have to whitelist ip addresses before you can connect to them?

The government of his country (I'm not making any assumption what country it is) is probably in a position to do whatever it wants and they're probably not obligated to give explanations. "Don't do anything we wouldn't like" could be considered an unecessarily detailed policy by his ISP/government.

Thank you for all your kindness.

I wish it'd be better if any international authority would control them.

Using the Internet isn't for us.
