Inside Iframe link problem

In my targeted iframe, I have links inside of them to view sections of my webpage. I know the link is correct, and I still want it to come up in the iframe, but it displays an error 404 page that is not found. Does this make sense to anybody? Do I need to insert a code possibly to make the link load?
